A trial proposal for the management system model to create new values

A model that aims to measure the competitive power of a management system is proposed in this paper. The model consists of leadership, management resources, the business process, and the value of business output for stakeholders such as stockholders, employees, customers, suppliers, and corporate companies. We developed a questionnaire based on the proposed model and used it to compare Japanese industries with those in Asia, Europe, and the U.S.. One hundred answers were collected, and the results were analyzed. This paper shows the strengths and weaknesses of the Japanese industry in terms of competitive power and suggests future research directions that may help to increase the competitive power of the management system.
