摘要
This study aimed to determine the effects of using video in teaching on the cognitive and affective aspects of students in mathematics learning. These effects were investigated from the results of previous studies. This study used meta-analysis, which is a study of some research results focusing on similar problems. The unit of analysis in this study was written documents about research on the use of videos in mathematics learning, such as journal articles and research reports. These scientific documents were selected purposively in agreement with research themes. Quantitative analysis of the data was used, with percentage and qualitative analysis for data as a result of narrative studies of the encountered research. The results showed that the use of videos as a learning media in mathematics plays a role in improving students' motivation in learning, enhancing students' knowledge and understanding of the lesson and improving the students' achievements.
