Eighteen species of sand fly were collected from Amapa Sate, Brazil, with Centers for Disease Control light traps during May 1998. Five species (Lutzomyia aragaoi, L. impai, L. brachipyga, L. inflata, and L. richardwardi) represent new records for the Amapa.
