摘要
In this paper, curling of an aluminum square tube by an electromagnetic forming is investigated. In free curling, irregularities are produced in the corner surface of the square tube when magnetic pressure reaches in a certain value. When deformation on the side part of the square tube is restricted by a die, it is possible to obtain regular curling profile in the case of short curling length. Simulation of curling square tube is performed by a finite clement method and compared with experimental results.
