摘要
Virtual reality has been used as a planning tool in the construction domain. However, at present there is no available software which can be used to automatically represent virtually real building construction components and activities. Virtual representation of construction components and activities enable users to discuss problems at the virtual location. This benefit can be used to view other aspects of the design, such as quality and safety process, and embed these in the plan. In this research, A Design-For-Safety-Process (DFSP) methodology will be developed using a theory of accident causation and safety axioms in order to point out the safety inherited at the virtually real construction components and activities. The aims of this paper is to discuss the approach to develop virtually real construction components and activities and also the concept of DFSP which is intended to point out the safety hazards inherited.
