摘要
The research of land use and land cover change is a core and focus point for study on the global changes. Also the research of eco-environmental change is significantly important for better understanding land use/land cover change and environmental management for sustainable development. In order to analyze eco-environment in Hubei province, the technologies of Remote Sensing and Geographical Information System were used. The mathematical methodology for study on eco-environment was explored and developed. This research focused on the analysis of eco-environment and land-use degree in Hubei province, Firstly, we got the synthetic eco-environmental evaluation result map of Hubei province using spatial principal components evaluation method; Sencondly, the author made eco-environmental background index map and land resources used degree map through define the ecological environmental background index and land resources used degree index. At last, based on eco-environmental background index and land resources used degree index, the relational coefficient between eco-environmental background index and land resources used degree index were calculated.
