Research on material requirement planning

The globalization process that took off in early 1980s has brought about changes in social, economic and political values with varying degrees among the three aspects. The global interdependence, resulting from this force of change led to the elimination of certain economic factors, which could be stated, firms or institutions; and to the reinforcement of others. The new world order generated, lead inevitably to the new international competition and new market forces requiring the new economic actors to adopt new strategies directed towards the optimal resources allocation on a worldwide scale. This implies Material Requirements Planning.
