摘要
Environment abuse has led to the proliferation of new languages. The following are some new the words. Drunken trees refer to trees suffering from melting permafrost. Season creep is an earlier arrival of spring. Global dimming is the gradual reduction of sunlight reaching earth. Carbon footprint are a person's CO2 output which can be derived from the carbon audit that tallies up by the emission of a person's car, appliances, and others. Carbon neutral is a goal to emit no net CO2 into the atmosphere. This can be achieved by carrying out carbon offsets which balance out CO2 emissions like planting trees. One can engage in carbon trading by investing in projects through the emerging carbon market. Technologies designed to alleviate environmental problems are called eco-techs. Eco-efficiency is about making goods with little effect on environment. Greenwashing is the defflecting of critism to cover nature misuse. Companies will become more carbon-constrained which means they must stop producing bads, as opposed to goods, but also to decarbonize, by reducing carbon productions. They'll need ecolonomics which is sustainable living through environmentally friendly business practices. For this they will need green accounting, the use of economic measures that take account of effects of production and consumption of the environment. The end goal is enlibra, the process of bringing something into balance for the environment. There will be people who ignore these which are the exemptionalists. It is best to invoke the precautionary principle which is about correcting problems before it occurs.
