摘要
In order to determine the operating loads for a single-drum compactor, a special measurement joint was designed. The resulting joint enables to monitor the vehicle's intrinsic weight, the forces of driving and roller units, steering motion, the nature and topology of the soil and the eccentric mass vibration generator in the roller unit. Measurement runs were performed with this set-up under both standard operating conditions as well as abnormal extreme loads. The resultant data is useful for optimizing the existing structural components and for designing future compaction rollers.
