摘要：
Ostracods reported from the Siwalik Group have been re-examined for their surface characteristics and it has been found that some stratigraphically significant selected taxa require revision of taxonomic placement. Taxa placed in Limnocytherids, Ilyocyprids and Zonocypids have been dealt with here and their taxonomy revised. The revision of taxonomy has also permitted study of their palaeobiogeographic implications.
