摘要
The microstructure-property relationship of a pure tin part built using the drop-on-demand technique of liquid metal jetting, a cost-effective alternative to selective laser-melting or sintering techniques, was determined. The microstructure of the as-built tin is observed to have minimal stored strain, low dislocation density, few to no voids, and the presence of only the beta-tin phase; concurrently, mechanical properties are shown to be identical to the traditionally manufactured tin.
