摘要
In this paper we have numerically analyzed the application of chalcogenide fiber Bragg gratings as promising tools for sensing applications. Hence the chalcogenide materials are promising for using also in near IR regime over the 2 mu m, the chalcogenide As2S3 grating parameters is compared with conventional SiO2 grating. Each parameter is calculated at typical communication wavelength 1550 nm. This paper is focused mainly on temperature, strain and pressure effects which caused change on Bragg wavelength and therefore change on the reflectance spectrum of these gratings.
