摘要：

The active carbon with a high specific surface area (more than 3 000 m(2)/g) was prepared by activating the carbonized rice husks by using potassium hydroxide as the activating agent, The effects of preparation parameters on the properties of the active carbon were studied, and its structure was characterized preliminarily.
