摘要：
A key aspect of ubiquitous mobility is the support of a roaming user. In this context a role model is needed which addresses the issues inherent in world-wide roaming support. In this paper, a flexible role model for UMTS is presented and its practical application is illustrated via mobile signalling scenarios. The model has been developed by the CSM MoU 3rd Generation Interest Group as part of their requirements For 3(rd) generation mobile systems.
