Algorithm for Extracting End Feature Point of 3D Human Body Model Using Point Cloud Data

摘要
End feature point extraction is the foundation and an important step of skeleton extraction. We presented an algorithm that can automatically extract end feature points of 3D human body model. This paper based on Morse theory. Because there is a large amount of data in 3D body scanning model, the algorithm needs high hardware configuration and a long running time. In view of the above questions, we optimized data structure and code of the end feature point extraction algorithm. After optimization the time complexity and the space complexity all declined. The experimental results show that our algorithm complexity is low, and our algorithm is accurate and fully automatic.
