摘要
Dump management is one part of underground mining of coal deposits. The article presents a general overview of dump management in the Ostrava Sub-Basin within the Ostrava-Karvind coal district. It contains an overview of dumps and informs on their current state, morphology and composition. The article also evaluates natural conditions and the impacts of dumps on the environment. Selected dumps are addressed in terms of their categorization according to the stability of the structure and vulnerability to thermal activity. With selected dumps, solution for using their final state is proposed. The article also includes pictures documenting the current state of the solution.
