摘要
When urologists palpate left and right lobes of the prostate on digital rectal examination, they are assessing the gland for the presence of abnormal conditions. Benign prostatic hyperplasia, an abnormal condition may appear lobar by digital examination; however, the normal, nonhyperplastic prostate lacks lobar configuration. Clin. Anat. 13:214-215, 2000.
