RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES CASTING OF OXIDE DISPERSION STRENGTHENED (ODS) STEELS BY THE METHOD OF VACUUM ARC RE-MELTING

摘要
The paper considers the production of dispersion-strengthened by nanosturctural zirconium oxides steel 08Cr18Ni10Ti by the method of vacuum-arc re-melting. Influence of the regimes of melting and of the size of alloying particles on distribution of zirconium oxide in the ingot of steel 08Cr18Ni10Ti is investigated by theoretical and experimental methods. Influence of alloying by zirconium oxides on the size of grains and non-metallic inclusions, microhardness and mechanical properties of steel 08Cr18Ni10Ti is investigated. It is shown, that decrease of zirconium oxide grains size results in more even distribution of particles in the melt volume.
