摘要：

In the past few years portable colorimeters and spectrophotometers have rapidly evolved. These instruments have added features and become more accurate, user friendly, and flexible in their ability to handle a wide range of applications. Areas where these instruments can increase the quality of textile products and the efficiency of processing are discussed as are applications in dyed and bleached goods.
