摘要
This article, the thesis of which articulates the notion of blood crime and its role in the construction of Joola identity, seeks to lay the groundwork for establishing the relationship between identity and war. It reviews previous research on the Joola and discusses at length an article by Vincent Foucher that reduces the formation of Casamance identity to gender relations and the fight against the migration of Joola girls to the city. I make the point that the notion of blood crime is at the heart of the construction of Joola identity.
