Simultaneous determination of lead and tin by using first-derivative polarographic method

摘要
Both lead (II) and tin(II) have good polarographic saves in the medium of 0.01 mol/L hydrochloric acid and 0.1 mol/L potassium thiocyanate. However, due to their similar reductive potentials, these peaks overlap seriously and make it difficult to determine simultaneously with conventional polarography. In this paper, first derivative polarographic method combined zero-crossing point approach was studied and applied successfully to the resolution of overlapping polarographic waves of these two components and satisfactory quantitative results were obtained.
