Planar inverted-F antenna design for W-CDMA

摘要
In this paper, a novel broadband planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) for the application in W-CDMA Mobile Terminal is presented. The computer-aided design (CAD) tools are employed to simulate the performance characteristics of PIFA, such as return loss, impedance match and frequency bandwidth. Finally, the experiment results show that the bandwidth is 250MHz from 1.92GHz-2.17GHz, VSWR<2.0 and the gain is about 4dbi. The measured results are in good agreement with the simulation data.
