摘要
Minimizing subjective and objective interferences in the quantification of esthetic prejudice. In order to be usable in a court of law, clinical aspects related to esthetic prejudice and disfigurement must be quantified by a medical-legal evaluation. We present an integrated aesthetimetric scale, derived from the Greff and Hodin scales, aimed for evaluating the esthetic prejudice determined by cutaneous injuries. The variables used are lesion type, anatomical area, dimensions, relief, symmetry, scar color, texture, and dimensions, underlying muscular injuries or fractures, age, sex, etc. The results are obtained by integrating the abovementioned data in an algorithm that provide a more objective quantification of the esthetic prejudice.
