What Does It Mean to "Understand" a Literary Text?

In article the approach to a problem of understanding of the literary text is offered, allowing to transfer its discussion on the ground of philosophy of culture. The typology of understanding of the literary text is offered. The first type: "understanding" finding-out or mastering of that sense that is understood. The found out sense becomes an knowledge: to understand the text the nobility its sense means. The second type: "understanding" is interpretation, investment with sense. Interpretation is the certificate of creativity initiated by the text, but supported by consciousness of freedom of the subject making this certificate. The third type: "understanding" is process from sense of the literary text in which the author of the text and the understanding subject participate as equals, involving in this participation all set of cultural factors. The literary text, as well as all art, lives, if its understanding if process with-creation, updating and restoration of its sense does not stop constantly develops, varies.
