摘要
Deterioration of ecological conditions in the Lower Volga basin necessitates the monitoring of adverse natural processes. Ecological monitoring of the investigated region is based on modern investigative methods. Deciphering of natural objects on aerial and cosmic photographs of the test plot has shown that photographs provide information about changes in the ecological conditions over the last 50-60 years. The developed geoinformation system of the test plot makes it possible to analyze the current status and changes in natural objects in the investigated area.
