摘要
This study focuses on increasing the efficiency of energy use in buildings by exploiting Phase Change Materials, PCM, as energy storage systems. In particular, we focus on the implementation of phase change materials in to the building system and how that can be achieved. We propose that the most effective implementation will be to incorporate the PCM in to the building envelope. We describe how this may be achieved and the critical conditions required to achieve a successful implementation.
