Research on the Quantitative Evaluation of Government Website

We chose the top 10 government websites as a sample which came from the provincial e-government performance evaluation in 2007. We evaluated the sample by using a quantitative index system we set before. And we got their ranks. We correlation analyzed the e-government performance scores with the new evaluation scores, finding the two were correlated obviously, and we got the linear regression curve model. We believe that the degree of e-government development is usually showed by its website as an appearance. So it is an important way to evaluate e-government by evaluating the government website.
