Resonance light-scattering (RLS) characteristics of interaction between phenosafranine (PS) with deoxyribonucleic acids (PNA) in the near neutral medium was studied. The effects of interference substances and optimization of procedure were investigated and a new method for the determination of the DNA at nanogram level/based on RLS measurement was established.
