Substituted norcaradienes, generated by - Rh-2(OAc)(4) catalyzed - cyclopropanation of toluene and benzene with tert-butyl diazoacetate, reacts with [60]fullerene to form a new type of fullerene cycloadducts. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
