摘要
The phytochemical composition and the antioxidant properties were explored for stem extracts of three Rosa species collected from different northern regions in Tunisia. Polyphenol qualitative and quantitative differences were found between species, provenances, and extracts. Rosacanina was rich on Kaempferol O-hexoside-deoxyhexoside and quercetin3-O-glucoside, but Synstylae stems were dominated by quercitrin and aromadendrin-O-hexoside-deoxyhexoside. This variability was also highlighted in Rosa scavenger ability results. These findings suggest that Rosa stems can serve as polyphenol sources and natural antioxidants.
