Now that the uptake of cloud services is achieving scale, and the offerings are more mature, it is time for the pricing strategies and market structure of cloud computing to move beyond the elementary. Cloud buyers want to buy on their own terms, but the CSPs are still selling on their terms. Is this an opportunity for the IT distribution chain currently being disintermediated by cloud to get back in the game? © 2015 IEEE.
