Molten salt-assisted synthesis of C-TiN nanocomposites for sensitive dopamine determination

摘要
This work demonstrates a facile molten-salt synthesis of carbon-titanium nitride (C-TiN) nanocomposites. The C-TiN nanoparticles showed excellent electrocatalytic activity and thus were employed for the electrochemical determination of dopamine (DA). By using a differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) method, a C-TiN modified glassy carbon electrode (C-TiN/GCE) presented a high sensitivity (9620 mu A center dot mu M center dot cm- 2) in the determination of DA and its detection limit (LOD) was 0.03 mu M (S/N = 3). Moreover, the C-TiN/GCE sensor was used to detect DA in human serum, and acceptable recoveries were obtained.
