摘要：
Sunk cost is irrelevant to investment decision according to the orthodox theory. In view of industry organization theory, sunk cost is a barrier to prevent a latent firm from entrance. This paper explores the characteristics of sunk cost in terms of assets specificity and puts forward some suggestions affecting investment decision.
