摘要
The aim of the research was to analyze the effect of glycemic control, method of treatment, duration of diabetes mellitus (DM), complication and predisposing factors on blood glucose level of DM patients in Makassar. The study was an observational analytic research with cross sectional method. The population were DM patients in Makassar. The sample consisted of 301 DM patients from 21 primary care center in 14 districts in Makassar selected using proportional random sampling. The data were analyzed using chi square test and multivariate analysis with the logistic regression test. The result of the research indicated regular exercise (p=0.000) and drugs adherence (p=0.025) have correlation to controlled blood glucose level. Logistic regression indicated that regular exercise is the most dominant factor affecting controlled blood glucose level (OR=52.387, 95% CI=17.950- 152,894).
