摘要
Zirconium-substituted TiMn2-based hydrogen storage alloy electrodes were prepared and their electrochemical characteristics have been evaluated in 6 M aqueous KOH solution. The electrode characteristics of Ti1-xZrxMn1.6Ni0.4 (x = 0.1 and 0.2) alloys such as discharge capacity, high rate capability and cycle life were evaluated. The alloy Ti0.9Zr0.1Mn1.6Ni0.4 was found to have higher capacity than Ti0.8Zr0.2Mn1.6Ni0.4 alloy. The exchange current density was also higher for Ti0.9Zr0.1Mn1.6Ni0.4 alloy. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V.
