摘要
According to Brazilian Association of Energy Conservation Service Companies - ABESCO - Brazil wasted 47.4 TWh with inefficiency in 2016. Industry sector, country's major energy consumer, represented 36% of the total amount. The objective of this case study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the energy efficiency program in a multinational household appliances manufacturer based in two different Brazilian cities: Curitiba - Parana and Sao Carlos - Sao Paulo. An analysis of energy performance, evaluating the impact of energy efficiency actions implemented in 2017 and the production volume was performed. The effectiveness of the program was evaluated according to established energy efficiency improvement targets versus actual consumption, achieving a reduction of 3.3 TWh through energy efficiency projects and energy management.
