摘要
In this paper, authors have applied the wavelength diversity techniques over K turbulence channel to reduce the outcome of atmospheric turbulence on the received signal. The information signal was transmitted onto the three wavelength channels 1550 nm, 1310 nm, and 850 nm. At the receiver end, Optimal Combining (OC) and Selection Combining (SC) diversity schemes have been deployed to combine multiple carriers. Mathematical analysis is carried out to calculate the outage probability for both the schemes. The simulations are done for the link distances of 2.5 km and 3 km for both the schemes. The achieved results demonstrate that the wavelength diversity improve the performance of the FSO communication link, but at a significant escalation of the system's complication and budget.
