Effect of Limited DAC Resolution on the Determination of Optimal Constellation Size in Probabilistic Shaping

摘要
In probabilistic shaping, a smaller constellation size leads to a lower peak-to-average power ratio but a higher average power. By jointly considering the signal-to-noise ratio and the DAC resolution, we determine the optimal constellation size. (C) 2020 The Author(s)
