摘要
We present a discontinuous Galerkin matrix-free formulation for the compressible Navier-Stokes equations and the viscous MHD equations based on spectral/hp hybrid element discretization. We first review the formulation and subsequently present convergence results for an Euler how as well as simulation results. The simulation results presented are flow past a NACA 0012 airfoil at Re = 10,000 including some preliminary 3D simulations, and a 2D MHD flow - the so-called Orszag-Tang vortex problem, (C) 2000 IMACS.
