摘要：
A cationic ruthenium(II) complex, [Ru(PPh3)(2)(CH3CN)(3)Cl][BPh4] (1), has been found to be an effective catalyst for stereoselective dimerization of alkynes in the presence of a base, and for regiospecific addition of carboxylic acids to alkynes in presence of the Lewis acid, BF3 center dot Et2O.
