摘要
In this paper, a geometric single-bounce scattering channel model for mobile-to-mobile (M2M) communication is proposed that incorporates directional antennas at both mobile stations (MSs). The directional antennas are implemented to reduce the degree of non-stationarity for M2M communication channels and for safety-related M2M scenarios. Furthermore, using the confined scattering objects in the effective vicinity of the directional antennas, we derive statistical-based expressions for the probability density function (pdf) of angle-of-arrival (AoA). The derived AoA statistical distribution depends upon the spatial relationships between the scatterers and MSs. The proposed model employs scatterers uniformly distributed within the sectoral regions of circles around the MSs. Results for the proposed model are compared with those for the circular model of M2M communication as well as fixed-to-mobile (F2M) communication environments. Besides employing directivity, with an appropriate choice of scattering regions, the proposed model can be made suitable for both macrocellular and M2M communication scenarios.
