摘要
NEW POPULATION BASINS OF THE SPANISH SOCIETY AT THE DAWN OF THE XXIst CENTURY. Modern communications dont eliminate space: they create one of a new nature and temporality supported by information and communication technologies. Geographical discontinuity becomes a key element to understand the change in the model of flows and relations that the proximity between territories used to favour. This article confirms a model of distribution based on population basins which goes beyond the traditional concept of a population fixed to a concrete space and in which it is to longer possible to consider exclusively the growths linked to its own population. This new approach of the urban-rural concepts explains how the spaces that lose population can present high rates of linked population with ways of life comparing to those of urban agglomerations.
