Theory, policy and practice of Greek outward foreign direct investment

The purpose of this paper is to analyse Creek outward foreign direct investment (FDI). It deals with the determining factors to expand abroad, and finds that they are similar to the set of theoretical paradigms in the literature; it considers the policy measures taken to facilitate such expansion and records some of the practices, experiences and problems of the new Creek multinationals. Creek outward FDI has extended to both developed and developing countries; mostly those of Central, Eastern, and South-Eastern Europe and has been helping the latter's integration process into the global economy.
