摘要：
In a previous work on amateur cross-country skiiers, we had made in evidence a significant decrease of muscular force in athletes over 50. In the same group we have measured the serum levels of growth hormone (GH) and insuline-like-growth factor I (IGF-I). The aim of this study was to correlate the muscolar force and the sports activity to GH levels. The main result was a high correlation between IGF-I and the physical activity after 50 years.
