Synergetic Development of Industrial Economy and Wastewater in the Greater Bay Area around Hangzhou Bay

The purpose of this paper is to explore the impact of the industrial economy on the seawater environment in the Greater Bay area around Hangzhou Bay. The industrial wastewater discharge amount is the measure variable of the seawater environment, and the output value of primary, secondary, and tertiary industries is the measure variable of the industrial economy. According to the results of regression analysis, the output value of the secondary industry has a significant positive impact on the industrial wastewater discharge amount, the output value of the tertiary industry has a significant negative impact on the industrial wastewater discharge amount, and the output value of the primary industry has no significant impact. According to the hypothesis test results, the industrial wastewater discharge amount and the output value of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries in the Greater Bay Area around Hangzhou Bay may have regional heterogeneity in different cities, but they can also have regional homogeneity, and the impact of the output value of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries on the industrial wastewater discharge amount has regional heterogeneity.
