Shakedown theorems for a class of materials with temperature-dependent yield stress

摘要
For elastic perfectly plastic materials with yield functions convex in the stress-temperature space, the static and kinematic shakedown theorems are reformulated within a thermodynamically consistent thermo-plasticity theory in which the material behaviour is described in terms of stress and temperature as the relevant state variables, and in terms of plastic strain rates and plastic entropy rate as the dual evolutive variables. The material model is associative and a maximum thermoplastic dissipation theorem holds. The two above shakedown theorems exhibit theoretical and computational improvements and are a promise of further developments.
