摘要：
A case of ischemic stroke due to internal carotid artery (ICA) dissection 6 hours after cervical trauma is described. Magnetic resonance angiography revealed extracranial occlusion of the left ICA. The etiology, pathogenesis, clinical presentation, diagnosis and treatment of the artery dissection are discussed.
