Advanced E-learning Study Materials and Vision for Future Development

This paper includes examples of innovative e-learning study materials created at the University of West Bohemia (UWB) in Pilsen at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FME). The e-learning project described in this paper creates study materials and a vision for their future development. New methods and forms of education are applied in this e-learning project. It is in agreement with modern trends of information and communication technologies (ICT). It consists of design projects created in cooperation with industrial companies. 3D PDF files are a part of the e-learning project. It is one way of making the outputs from specialized computer aided design (CAD) software more available. A wide field of potential applicants could be inspired to study due to these materials.
