摘要
The innovations of digital technologies in the interdisciplinary reconstructive and implant dentistry have opened new possibilities in the treatment planning and execution. Nowadays, the different virtual data sets can be integrated and fused in software, which leads to more information on the computer screen and enables a multi-layer visualization of the clinical situation. Therefore, new technologies in implant dentistry facilitate improvement of diagnostics and planning and treatment. Today's focus in implant dentistry is not only limited to successful osseointegration, but also to high standard of esthetic and functional implant prosthetics as well as the efficiency of treatment. This paper provides an overview about the digital technologies used in implant dentistry and different possibilities of the digital workflow.
