Use of technology in the support of independent living of people with special needs

摘要：
A growing group of people with special needs encounters limitations in the performance of tasks at home. Adaptation of the house may enable their capacity to maintain a state of independent living. In this paper the functional adaptations and the application of home technology networks to support independent living for PSN is discussed. Market considerations have led to the development of a concept of ''basic configuration''. Results of experimental implementation. in several housing projects for people with special needs are given.
